Today I finally made a major effort to fix my hair! I can't believe i really pulled it off! The makeUp- The Hair--I did it all! Doing this really helped me develope admiration for the classic women from "yester year". It really takes a lot of effort to look this "well Kept". We're talkin, rollin, combin' wavin' shavin' !!! Women use to do this everyday plus take care of their families! It's a little sad to me that this era is gone. The era of "the family".
I know some people might say that the 40's/50's /60's were a time when women were opressed , and to a certain extent, I believe that is true but I also believe it was a time when women were able to feel safe in the security that their husband's were providing for them and their children. The women had the privilege of staying home to raise their children and create a relaxing and welcoming evironment for their husband's to come home to.
The movies and the people in the movies had "morals". The fashion was absolutely flawless. This is one thing that "Beauty's Boutique" has never lost sight of. We love the Classic Era of Women's fashion and it surely isn't dead!!!
